CineParts Terms & Conditions & Returns

Welcome to CineParts. By using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all customers, including those in the UK and international locations.

1. Definitions

For clarity in these Terms:

• “Customer” means any individual or business purchasing goods from CineParts.

• “Goods” means the physical products sold on this website.

• “Order” means a purchase made through the CineParts website.

• “CineParts”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to CineParts, the seller of the Goods.

3. Orders & Contract Formation

• All orders are subject to acceptance by CineParts.

• A contract is formed when we dispatch your order, not when you place it.

• We reserve the right to cancel orders due to stock issues, pricing errors, or other legitimate reasons.

4. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are in GBP (£) and exclude VAT when displayed on the website. If VAT applies, it will be added at checkout.

• Shipping costs are added at checkout.

• Payment must be made in full before dispatch. We accept most major payment platforms. We do not accept cash or cheques. 

 

5. Delivery

• We deliver to the UK and internationally.

• Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout.

• Risk passes to you when goods are handed to the carrier.

• Inspect your order on arrival and report any damage immediately.

6. Cancellation & Returns (UK Law)

Under UK law, consumers have 14 calendar days to cancel an order after receiving goods, for any reason.

How to Cancel

• Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order:

• Include your order number and items to cancel.

• Once approved, we will start the refund process. Funds may take 3-6 business days to reach you.

Returning Items

• Return products in unused, original condition with all packaging.

• You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or not as described.

• Use a trackable shipping method for returns.

Exceptions: Some items cannot be returned, including:

• Custom or personalised products.

Refunds

• We will refund the purchase price and standard delivery costs within 14 days of receiving the returned items.

• Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

• We may deduct any reduction in value if the product has been used beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

7. Faulty or Misdescribed Items

• If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us within 30 days.

• We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund.

• Return shipping for faulty items will be covered by CineParts.

8. Liability

• Our liability is limited to direct losses up to the purchase price of the goods.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, except as required by law.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• For most UK customers:

“These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.”

• Optional wording for Scottish customers:

“Where a customer is based in Scotland, these Terms are governed by Scots law, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.”

• For international customers, see Section 15 below.

11. Force Majeure

• We are not liable for any delay or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, severe weather, or accidents

  • Strikes, industrial disputes, or transport failures

  • Acts of government, war, or terrorism

 

12. Severability

• If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms. The latest version is always on our website.

• Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

15. International Customers

• CineParts ships worldwide. By placing an order from outside the UK, you agree that:

  1. UK law governs these Terms, and any disputes fall under UK courts.

  2. UK statutory cancellation rights only apply to UK customers. International customers may have local consumer rights.

  3. You are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import regulations in your country.

  4. Returns from outside the UK are at the customer’s expense, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
